Join SREG, SIC and Net Impact in welcoming Matthew Dunbar, VP of Government Relations & Advocacy at Habitat for Humanity NYC. Mr. Dunbar will be discussing Habitat's role in building and maintaining affordable housing, his work with government agencies, and the need for low-income housing in urban neighborhoods.

Matt Dunbar is the Vice President of Government Relations & Advocacy at Habitat for Humanity New York City, overseeing the affiliate’s advocacy, organizing, and educational activities for the five boroughs. Since 2009Matt has directed the organizations community and political outreach in support of the non-profits homebuilding and rehabilitation efforts in Central Brooklyn, Southeast Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. During these years, he has helped build more than 190 homes with low-income families. He has led the affiliates many faith communities, volunteers, and campus chapters in advocating for stronger rent regulations, foreclosure prevention funding, and increased investment in affordable homeownership. Matt is a alum of NYU’s Gallatin Graduate School for Individualized Study.
